PREGNANCY TESTING: Performed by a registered nurse or nurse practitioner. In addition to counseling with a volunteer client advocate, medical staff are available to answer questions and to perform a first-trimester limited ultrasounds when appropriate.
1,146 women received a pregnancy test.
252 of those with positive tests received a life-affirming ultrasound.
32% of all pregnancy test clients were assessed to be “at risk” for an abortion.
SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE/INFECTION SERVICES
In addition to men and women meeting with a Client Advocate prior to their exam, our staff is equipped to discuss the emotional, spiritual, and physical consequences of sexual activity outside of marriage from a medical perspective.
622 women and men received testing for sexually-transmitted diseases.
EARN WHILE YOU LEARN PARENTING EDUCATION
Our pregnant clients may choose to participate in our Earn While You Learn (EWYL) program. Through this program they may aquire baby items with earned points, in addition to gaining the support of teachers and other expectant parents.
25-35 women and men regularly attend EWYL classes each month.
POST-ABORTION RECOVERY
Guilt and sorrow from an abortion hold countless women and men emotionally and spiritually captive. Our passion in the Restoring Hearts program is to walk side-by-side with them on their healing journey.
310 contacts were made to post-abortive men and women (includes phone calls, counseling, and notes of encouragement)
ABSTINENCE EDUCATION
Our JUSTWAIT program shares the risks of sexual activity before marriage as well as the benefits to remaining pure until marriage. Middle and High School Students are challenged and empowered to make healthy decisions regarding relationships and sexual health.
